Our certified grassfed cattle are raised on natural grass meadows and cold, clean snow melt flowing from the Strawberry Mountains to the John Day River. Our values have withstood the test of time and have been passed down through three generations.

Our beef is dry aged for 10 to 12 days. Piedmontese cattle are naturally more tender than other breeds of cattle for the breeds Myostatin gene.

Grandpa Harvey started the family ranch in Prairie City, Oregon in 1974.

His only son, Richard Field, took over the ranch in 1992. An inquisitive scientist, Richard worked to learn more about the Piedmontese breed and their unique Myostatin gene, the key to our tender grassfed beef.

Jeremy, third generation rancher, is excited to carry on the Field family's core values and bring the highest quality grassfed beef to the market from the family ranch in Prairie City.

Three generations work together to manage the land, care for the herd, and pass on traditions.
